Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 8 July 2026

The short version: Awaken is early-stage software offered as-is during beta. Use it, enjoy it — but please keep your own backups of anything important, because data may change or be lost while we build.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of everythingawaken.com and Awaken Journal ("the Service"), operated by Everything Awaken™ (owner: Tanureet Kaur Randhawa, Punjab, India). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Beta / early-stage software

Awaken Journal is in active development and beta testing. This means features may change, break, or disappear; the Service may be unavailable at times; and your data may be lost, reset, or altered during development. You use the Service understanding this, and you should keep independent copies of anything important.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity under your account. Please give accurate information when signing up. Notify us if you suspect any unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to it, or using it for anything unlawful or harmful to others.

4. Your content

Everything you write in Awaken — your journal, tasks, and notes — belongs to you. We claim no ownership of your content. We store and process it only to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Our intellectual property

The name Everything Awaken™, the Awaken brand, logo, design, and software are the intellectual property of the owner. You may not copy, resell, or pass them off as your own.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that data will always be preserved — particularly during beta.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Everything Awaken and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Awaken is a personal tool, offered in good faith.

8. Not professional advice

Awaken is a personal organisation and tracking tool. Nothing in it — including money tracking or any future insights — constitutes financial, legal, medical, or professional advice. See our Disclaimer.

9. Suspension & changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, especially as an evolving beta. We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Punjab, India.
